Took my ’09 Cad CTS-V into Izzy’s for a baseline dyno run.
It developed a measly 561 RWHP & a similar sick RWTQ #.
To say the least, even though this was on 91 only & alky, I
was embarrassed. Izzy & Tom both told me that I should be
getting about 620-630 RWHP from my combination. They
both told me that if I left it there, they would uncover what-
ever issues it had and they would not let it leave their shop
until it was running mean like it should be. That was Monday
afternoon & I dropped it off Tuesday morning. I’m like on
pins & needles because I would so like to see it running like
it should. Tom called me Wed afternoon & told me that it
was running very chipper at 642 on 91 only & 692 on a 47%
mix of E-85 & 91, no alky.
Picked it up Thursday afternoon and I am totally stoked as to
how it started & run. Significantly more bottom end, mid
range, considerably smoother through the entire range.
This thing is running so strong I’m afraid to poke it with a
stick for fear that it will turn around and bite me.
Many thanks to Izzy, Tom, & Izzy’s crew for their work.

So, what was holding back the hp?

Inter-cooler was not completely bled of air, heat soak, & a more responsive tune.

That car makes me hard like Japanese arithmetic:D if I sell my Buick that is what will replace it. Congrats Gary nice combo.

If I only bought what I could afford in life,
I would not have had any of the toys that I have enjoyed throughout life.

I can only do on toy at a time.:sorry:
