I snapped this pic of my cat looking all worried about the huge heron that landed in the backyard...he brings in birds, snakes, mice, rats and jack rabbits all the time....was waiting for him to come in the cat door with this thing in his mouth :D

Cats are fun to watch. I miss mine sometimes, but mostly I'm glad she's gone.

My neighbor had a Koi pond and a blue heron would come by every summer and pluck his fish out of it. It was fun to watch, too. He gave up and put a pool in its place. Now there are far more interesting things to watch from my back deck than that blue heron ;)

We have a Yard decorative fish pond out front, we always have to restock,,,,,,,dont know where they are going LOL/

We have 3 large cats:p

PS you have a big mouser yourself!

Usually the herons land down in the water where its shallow, but this one landed in the yard right in front of Big Man...my wife named him, he still catches all kinds of critters even at 14 years old.

Yea I hear ya, I like my cat but the little bastard sprays on any clothes I leave out. I can't say I'll miss him all that much when he is gone. Hey I have 1987 posts....
