I see quite a bit of this quoted;
My customer this and my customer that.
Granted there are some very good people and legit shops working on customer cars, i.e. . . . getting paid to do so. Thats my definition of customer: Money changes hands for a specific work agreement.

Hope the customers are happy because the last thing we need is another hack that gives the rest a bad name. Lol

I help out a few friends along the way and do not have or need customers. Too much hassle for me for a little bit of cash.

Guess with all these customers. . . . "I" still can't locate a good shop nearby.

Jer, back away from the bong, take a deep breath of fresh air!!:D:D:cigar:Maybe, it's a blunt!

D*** Chuck. I didn't think anyone would notice.
It's the bag you gave me. :D Good s***!!

I know what you guy mean though I had a good shop do my motor. With less than 50 miles I have a rear main seal leak. An it took them 3 years to build my motor.

I do a lot of "customer" work. I have done anything from Engine/trans/aftermarket ECUs for GN's as well as many other car including two LS RX7's, several harnesses/ecus for turbo LS stuff around the area and am currently working on building an EFI setup for a 468 BBC Chevelle and ECU/harness for a Turbo 5.0 in a wheeling rig and and dropping a H/C 408 stroker in place of an LS2 in an RX-7 I've fixed other problems on in the past. I am pretty well known for doing top notch detail oriented work and fixing hacked up sh*& other "Performance Shops" have done... Between my brother any myself we have done a lot of very custom fabrication/wiring/ecus on all sorts of different platforms. I guess it's just who you know as I only operate by word of mouth and being I work a full time day job and just do this for fun I'm limited on time to do projects.

I also do quite a bit general repair on cars but that's not as fun to talk about as building cool stuff.

I wish I could take credit for the garage but unfortunately I can't. The owner of the car asked if I would like to just do the tear down at his place so it's not in the way since I currently have my GN all tore apart doing a 3800/4L80E swap. Going tomorrow to pick up the new forged 408 stroker short block from ERL and putting the Frankenstein racing heads on and a nice mild cam from Tick. It should be a great running little car. Maybe by Sunday I'll have it pretty close to back together. After the RX-7 is done it's on to the red Miata in the background to do a Megasquirt ECU.
