I own a Pepperidge Farm bread franchise and I can tell you first hand that people are not buying ANYTHING with the word " French" on it. Luckily te rolls always were a crappy item and accounted for about $5 of my earnings a week. It didn't even dawn on me today until A store asked me not to bring them in (as a joke) and pointed out that I was pulling the 4 packages out as stale that I brough in on Friday, and it was the same in all my stores. Funny how people think this item nd french fries hve anything to do wth the French, but i'm all for anything that has to do with bashing France. I have always subscribed to the Al Bundy school of French bashing, and always will. My question is, has anyone seen a listof French products or companies that aresold in the US?? I mean is Lore'al shampoo a french product, or just using a french name????
