At work bored as hell. Been here at this company for almost 10 years and I'm finally getting tired of it. Here's some pics of the products we make and package here.

Got any Preparation H. This Buick is a pain in the ass......:D
Or some KY for the parts I need.

No but we do have adult diaper rash ointment.

I used to enjoy coming to work and now it got to the point it sucks. I haven't had a raise in a few years and I'm afraid I'm going to be stuck making the same amount of money for a long time. I think its about time for a career change.

I would "put the feelers out".

No sense in being miserable. It's a job, you aren't married to it. And most likely you were looking for a job when you found the one you have.

I just started a new job about three months ago. I got more money, better/cheaper benefits, and so far they seem genuinely glad to have me come to work there.

Life is too short.

I'm sure your company packages feminine hygiene products. Pick up one of the packages and you'll see "If you are unsatisfied with this product return the unused remainder for a full refund" Some unlucky sap has to unwrap those returns.

Still think your job sucks.

Thank goodness I don't have to do that.

I do a lot of gear box and pump rebuilding. I am trying to have them send me to school for a machinist since the current one (relative) will be retiring soon. He already put a good word for me and looks like they haven't made up their mind yet plus the existing boss seems like he doesnt want me to move up. He wants his brother to be the next as machinist.

I recently made a career change and went into business for myself. It was a huge step, but I love it so far. Scary as well without income in the beginning, but I don't have a boss anymore! Just my clients, but I don't HAVE to work with anyone in particular.

I would like to go into business for myself and have been thinking about it for a few years, but havent really done anything. I do have an idea about something in particular that I would like to do and have been talking with my cousin about becoming a partner, but I'll see how that goes.

Go into a new business is hard but you'll be glad you do it later. Am been doing it for 10 years and still running strong. If you want to change career snd wsnt to move to NY I can help you with one average $1000 a week minimum. Pm me for more info

Let me give you a piece of advice. Go to school part time to learn how manufacturing machines work. Get into maint tech position . I use to be a c.n.c programmer machinist after my manual days. I now rebuild them and service them. Awesome job. I love the challenge . Maybe even find a company similar to yours or something a little different, but in that field. You have experience, or talk to your company let them know what you would like. Shit ya been there ten years! Good luck .

If you REALLY want a job that sucks, try selling vacuum cleaners.......:p

Thank you everyone for your opinions. Its always good to hear other people talk about the success they have gotten after making such a big decision in life. Ill be sticking to my regular job for now and sometime down the road maybe ill be talking about my own success stories. Peace out until next time.
