Decided to throw a Kenne Bell Boost a Pump in the GN. Here are some pics and a video of the installation. Had an extra volt meter hanging around so decided to install that next to the controller in the trunk. For now I have the hobbs switch bypassed. Ran a dedicated ground to the battery and mounted the boost a pump on the right trunk floor. Since I redid my trunk kit to work with my alky fuel cell, the boost a pump is hidden behind the panel.

Mark, very nice installations. So are you running the fuel pump at 16 volts with the BAP? What fuel pump do you have? Does this have any affect on your Alky pump? I am currently trying to figure out what to do about a fuel pump. My fuel pump cannot keep up with my new engine above 5100 rpms (and 25 PSI of boost):)

Chasing a problem with low fuel pressure at mid 20's for boost. Have a Walbro right now that I am being told might have a bypass problem. Since I have to drop the tank again, I am going with a new pump/hanger combo from Racetronix to go along with their hot wire kit I already have. Figure I might as well upgrade to their hanger since their setup has heavier gauge wire along with a better intermediate harness. Right now just running the pump at a solid 14 until I can get the hobbs switch installed. Nice having the voltage gauge so I can dial it in.

Doesn't affect the alky pump, only boosts voltage to just the fuel pump.

Very nice install, let me know if you sell that car??My kind of workmanship:cool: ,way to go Mark

Good idea Mark! Looks great! Hope it fixes your voltage issues you were having.

Your a fag with a super nice looking trunk. Oh Crap!,that probably makes me sound like a fag.

WTF is up with you guys, go pollute someone elses thread.
Wow,some guy obviously complimented you on your very nice looking trunk and installation in a way the Spicoli might have said it.I'm sure the fag part was his way of saying he was envious. He said he was kidding. Then I come along and compliment your installation and point out that what ever someone might say about you, your installation looks very nice and realized after I wrote, that it might be interpreted wrong and made fun of myself. Are you serious?

Your trunk and Boost-a-Pump installation look very nice! High Five!
