hello TTT; That's refreshing to here that your going to really use it as a DD. My TB sits to much and that's not good for nothing not that I would make it my DD but I'd like to get it out more often. I recently got one also and that's a 2013 CRV. My 94 van is just about done with me and I'm sure I'll miss it at times as you will with your truck. I believe you might have your hands full with that car in the snow. Good luck with it.
Do you like coffee and is there a Dunkin Donut near bye? I'll bet some sort of gift card.
have fun

Just giving you a hard time buddy. I'm sure I will miss my truck on a few of those snowy days or when we need a load of dirt. As far as snow goes, these cars actually do very well with snow tires and some common sense. Luckily I only have a 2 mile commute and I own the business, so if it is that bad out, I'll work from home!

hello; Living close to work is always a good thing. I had it for years but no more but now luckily I can start work early enough to beat the heavy traffic. It's like 30 miles one way.
over and out

That is a very nice car. I had no idea they came in a manual. Very nice find. If I got another car that would be my choice.:)

The GXP could also be ordered with the 6 speed manual trans--GT was 6 speed auto only...

Rick I'll take my chances with a stock TTA though. This thing pulls like a train but I think I'm most impressed with the level of fit and finish for GM. I haven't seen panel gaps this nice on a GM ride ever and there isn't a squeak or rattle anywhere. Maybe those Australians are good at something besides soccer!

Is Postal still around? You could race him....:) Hey Tom I'm headed to Power Tour in Betendorf, Iowa today. You should go. It ends in Wisc. Dells tomorrow. The show in Itasca last weekend was great. I didn't see you there.

I have one and I'm gonna say it's gonna take a very well running stock tta to out run it in the 1/8 mile....

Now me and a buddy ran on the highway with his Buick and it runs mid 7.50 and on the highway he would get the jump and about 90 mph. The g8 started pull in him in.......it has a top end pull...

Btw my stock g8 runs 8.5x in the 1/8. But it wheel hops pretty bad if you really try to launch it on street tires.
