Very cool.

Get some high quality tint that will never fade put on it. I went with ceramic film on my 03 Regal and really like it. In theory, it will never need tint again and helps save my eyes, skin and interior from sun damage.

What does the active cylinder management get you? MPGs?

Yes, better mileage. During cruise conditions, it starts dropping cylinders to 4 if needed and all the way down to 3 if load allows. Very cool and totally seemless.

you didnt mention the mid 14 sec OEM #s, a coupe 6 spd will do a 14.1 supposedly. Impressive for Honda family movers.

The test drive convinced me. This thing is quuiiiiiccckkkk!!!!!! AND 29 mpg.

Does it feel as quick and fast as my stock 87 GN? Yes.

Nice

My Father-inlaw has a white 2008 Accord less then a month old. Thought I was looking at his Honda. They are Very nice. Nice buy Dave.

all you need now is some 20" chrome, 2 loud mufflers, and 30 hp of stickers and you can rock out w/ your... lets say hang out w/ your wang out.
I need to consider one of these as my dd, we have a 2.0T passat wagon I LOVE.... but that hers, I need a 25+ mpg car in the worst way.

Nice ride Dave

I really like the pearl paint. saw one at auto show and loved it. That's got to be the cleanest garage I've ever seen. I don't see any oil leaks on the floor so your buick must not be in there. ;)

Actually there's a fairly saturated piece of cardboard under the car. That "was" the Excursion's parking spot, and it has a pretty good leak that I haven't found yet. The GN that I have that doesn't leak is on the other side of that garage. :D

I bought an 07 accord and got rid of it after 6 weeks!! It rode like a brick and the seats were as hard as h@ll...I hope they fixed that in the 08's...Are you really getting 29 mpg? Mine barely broke 23!!!

I don't know yet, it's too new, but that's what the highway epa rating is. I know I'm getting close to 24 on my daily commute.
I think the seats are fantastic, and the ride is NICE!
Remember, it's a complete re-design for 08.

Nice buy. I sell new Hondas here in Pittsburgh, and the white diamond V6 cars are the hardest ones to get. Probably the prettiest accord they made.

Just checked my first fill up. 24.8mpg combined city/highway commute.
Better than I expected from a new tight engine. The car's rated 15-23 (19)CITY, and 24-34 (29)HIGHWAY. These new epa labels aren't the easiest to interpret. My commute is about 65% highway and the rest is urban.
Plus there were a couple WOT blasts in there, just because it's so much fun!!

The sun finally came out!! Obviously, I'm not a professional photographer!!

I read that next year they are going to have a diesel engine replace the hybrid Accord because it will be even more efficent.

An Accord with a diesel will be very interesting

Joshua

Well, I've got a 1,000 miles on it now. I'm absolutely amazed at the power this little V6 makes!!
All that through 3 cats, 4 WBO2's, and 4 mufflers/resonators.

A pre-cat on each bank, each with it's own pre and post WBO2, followed by a main cat.

Good looking car. I will be in the market for a new DD sometime in the near future. What do those cars sticker for? Any discounts on them?

Not much in the way of discounts or incentives. Depends on the dealer.
As for pricing and reviews/ratings, try this: 2008 Honda Accord Pricing and Information

Then try this and click on the "build and price" buttons under either the coupe or sedan: 2008 Honda Accord Coupe and Sedan - Official Honda Autos Web Site

I can tell you this. I have never been quite so enamored by a car in a very very great many years. I test drove many different makes/models over the last 6 months, and this is what I ended up with. I tested everything from M.B. C300/350 down to the smaller cars, i.e. civic, mazda3, etc. etc.

This is classified as a midsize sedan (weighs 3500  ), but interior size is better than some larger sedans I looked at.

I opted for the top of the line EX-L V6, but without the Navi system. It wants for no options, has it all (except navi). I have my own navi and bluetooth stuff. Some of the nicest leather I've ever seen in a car in this class!! roomier, nicer appointed interior, more power, better fuel economy than the M.B. C300 we wanted at first (test driving them made up our minds quickly).

Mine stickered out at 28K plus "dealer adds" which we promptly negoitiated off of the sticker.

It's the first car I've ever owned that I find myself turning around and looking over my shoulder in admiration every time I walk away. And looking for any excuse to go out for a drive.
