Post some better pics of the failure.
That would help determine what might of happened.

Yup up graded the power wire from the top connected to the pump eliminated the plug straight wirewe'll see what happens

anything bigger than a 255 should get a completely new tank harness like the one Racetronix makes with upgraded wire and connectors. We stock them. They really should not be installed on stock hangars at all since the restriction in the hangar kills big pumps and of course the pump gets blamed because "the hangar was fine with the stock pump". If you properly modify the hangar and run bigger lines the pump problems go away.

Mike is correct, a stock hanger or a replacement one has no business in a performance build as it is marginal at best, even in a stock build. :(

The major issue we find with the stock type hangars is the wiring connectors and crap wire that is being used.

We have found many off-shore produced items are made using inferior wire as compared to USA quality and spec, and this is the case of the fuel senders.

Over the past few years we have modified many stock-type hangers with marginal results, and that has been our motivation for us the design and build a new hanger/sender unit for one or 2 pumps.

After a year of pro-types we finally have the ultimate unit in the testing phase, and the CNC parts are now being finished so we can start assembling units.

The modular design will accommodate one or 2 pumps, and a choice of rubber hose connections or AM fittings.

Wiring will be done with mil-spec materials and positive connectors, not slip-together type.

blew the fuse first then dropped the tank looked it over it all didn't look like that the first time so made sure everything was tight and strapped put it back in and ran good for 2maybe 3 month and then it just stopped this time it didn't blow the fuse .the pump seems to be fine it primed with key on enr .before the wire fix now it does.so as far as the new senders .will look in to that thanks for all your replies .
