My post was deleted???

I just bought my first ever GN and joined this site after lurking here reading content. I posted a long 1st post with a question regarding AC. I had previously searched and found no answers related to my particular AC issue so posted it under general tech which seemed the most apropos. It was deleted with no explanation??? It's not like it was a spam post or a rehash that 2 seconds on the search function would have given me 600 answers so trying to determine WHY?? I'm a member iof several other auto forums as well as moderator on a couple so I didn't think the post was garbage.
