Looks a lot better than mine right now. Hopefully I'll be working on mine in the next few weeks and make the rust disappear.

Thanks bud. I wish you the best with yours Charlie. I really need to get the body back on the frame, so that I can put my corvette back in the garage. The weather will be getting colder, and before we know it, the snow will come too. Looking really sad outside, and it has a hole in the tarp because a kid fell through and was crying for help one day. I got the car for free from an old friend after doing some work on a 62 lincoln, and finishing the job before the due date. I really would like an lsx turbo, but i dont have the funds for that. I do have that spare 85 GN motor and trans, but for now its just sitting. Well back to work i go.

Thanks guys, just trying to eliminate all the rust i can. I really enjoy doing this type of work, even if it can get a little hectic at times.

We had some deasant weather today and decided to install my rear brakes and hardware, i also finished installing the dash, wiring, vents, and steering column. There is a lot of dust on the dash but its finally in, a few more things and i should be able to start the engine.

Today I started cleaning all the undercoating on my fuel tank with a small putty knife and some acetone with some scotch brite pads. I'll be using Racetronix G7 SS unit with the 255 pump. Im still waiting on my paint to get here from eastwood, but heres a few shots of the tank. I'll post pics of the tank in its finished state on friday, and hopefully install it by sat or sun.

Now I just have to get a radiator, fluids, a few hoses and maybe I can start it up and see how the new engine runs.
