My TC wont lock up through the ALDL

My TC will not lock up through the ALDL are their any other ways to try to lock it like right at the wires were it plugs into the tranny? if you can cross them at the tranny or any other way what wires do i have to cross or ground at the tranny?

Stupid question, but are you grounding the correct pin? The reason I ask is that the ALDL is upside down on my car.

i am grounding the right wire i have checked that many times before just to make sure that it was the right one.
