my turbo

can anyone tell me if there is a chrome cover available to cover my turbo on my 84gn? i cant stand that rust look! thanks for any helpful info.

i sanded mine down, then polished it. Price=free and it looks really good

What did you use to polish it with? Or I guess I am just trying to get an idea of what your process is of polishing it.

well after i got the rust and crap off, i used a finer grit paper so clean it up more and get rid of sanding marks then i used a rag and some metal polish and polished it for a good while until it was smooth as glass and just the way i wanted it. After doing the turbo shield, plenium, and other underhood pieces i know get alot of complements on my engine.

it is really nice if you get some other pieces sanded down like the shield as well to tie everything together.

i could get some pics but it would be a couple of days , i am curently getttig headers and crossovewr cleaned up, and have turbo out of the car and its kinda a mess, but if you give me your email i willsend you some as soon as i can.

i have an 84gn, can i add a chip to this car?( i use to have an 87 but it had the chip in it when i bought it ) if so what is a good chip to buy and what is the process?
