N/A V8 O/D Trans

I've got a question about an 86 Regal V8 Regal I'm having dropped at the shop this week. When I bought the car I noticed that it had a 4 speed overdrive tranny. What trans would this be, a possible core?

Sounds good so far Is this a possible core, what valve body & differences than a BRF? Basically is worth packing back?
