I'm installing my alky kit tomorrow, and am planing on going up to NED to do some tuning tomorrow night.

Anyone else going to be there?

How'd you do? You're getting alot done on your car, are you off work this week? Al thought he might have seen you driving around.

It's getting much better. I ran a 12.59@ 109 with a 1.92 60'. I think the next things I'm going to do are the valve springs I have sitting here, and I'm going to have to start working on my rear suspension and order some drag radials. If I can get my 60s into the low 1.7s I think I'll be pretty close to 11s.

And from there just tune, tune, tune.

I'm self employed, so I never really have vacation...business is just a little slow this week so I've had a little extra time.

What do you think it would take to get NED to do a Buick/Mustang day. I know a bunch of Mustang guys that would probably be up to play, and we both know that there are a bunch of fast TBs around here.

i went to lvd last night and ran a 11.88 @112 .1.57 60'i somehow lost 3tenths and 5mph from earlier in the year. all stock rear suspension.stock valve springs and timing chain all unopened, earlier in the year i had a 1.52 60' been wanting to take a ride up there just hasn't happened yet!

There used to be more guys that raced their Buicks at NED but it seems that people just don't want to go as a group to race. Track rental is best for tuning. Al and I did that last year and it was way better than a street night or test and tune on the weekend. If you want to do a track rental in Sept, That would be cool. I'm sure Al would go. Maybe we could get a few of the other Buick guys around to go. As far as an event, that takes a few people to organize. I think the usual field for that is 32 cars but I guess it could be smaller. I've never been involved organizing something like that.

That's a big improvement you've made with those mods. You can use those rims that the ET Streets are on for the drag radials if you don't have any other rims. Those tires are dead.
