I have an 84 T-Type, and I live in Wisconsin.

I'm in the process of rebuilding the whole car. (Found signs of excessive rodent habitation)

The engine has been to the machine shop for a thorough rebuild and is pretty much set to go back together, aside from the fact that the exhaust was junk. (100% stock) and the exhaust manifolds have had it.

I've considered installing headers, but I haven't found any that match the 84/85 Model years. It all seems to be 86/87 oriented.

Does this mean that I'm going to have to get a new intake manifold and relocate the turbo charger???

Thanks in advance.

You can reweld the headers but make sure it's done with a TIG. Right now there are no after market headers for a HA car that I know of. There was 1 guy selling them on evilbay but they were $1200 a set plus shipping. Don't know if he still sells them or not, sorry.

These aren't headers, these are the original stock exhaust manifolds. sorry for not being more clear about that.

If they look like this they're considered tubular header manifolds and can be repaired with a good welder using a TIG.;) The 78-82 cars had cast manifolds.:D
