Need advice

Some of you might know,i have a 1976 Cosworth Vega with an 87 GN drivetrain.Over the winter i had it painted.I want to put the pinstripe back on the car.Like factory but with some flair.
On the fender it should say "Cosworth twin Cam",but i was thinking of something like "Cosworth VNX" or "Cosworth Turbo"?

but I'd put the stripes on,
I have had 3 of the cosworths, and like em,
wanted to do the same thing ( turbo V6 in a vega) but could not cut up a running cosworth.
go for it, piss off all the cosworth purists, LOL

Cosworth Turbo

Go with Cosworth Turbo. Almost bought one about 8years ago. The Cosworth motor was gutless though. The Black and gold trim was nice actually the rims looked cool on them. I liked the fact that they came with either a Muncie 21 or 22 Rock Crusher and gearing in the back was 373's I think.

With that beefed up drivetrain They should have dropped a 350 in them instead of that anemic twin cammed 4 banger. If memory services me right think Yenko made a few 350 Vegas that would be a nice Collector car. Yours will be nicer then any SBC. The Vega is a nice platform can't imagine what she will feel like hp/weight ratio. My favorite Pro Stock car was Grumpy's Toy that Vega was a bad mofo.

Did you ever see the episode of Pinks with the Wooly Mammoth it was a Vega stationwagon with a sbc on laughing gas . It had this long looking black shag carpet over it's entire body it run pretty hard. Your's will be a BAD mofo too! A Cosworth turbocharged Vega who would have ever thunk! Tried voting twice to make up for lack of support.

Cosworth Turbo Vega

Loooking good! (Freddie Prinz ,Chico and the Man) How about blackin-out all the body moulding, window trim as well and paint the bumpers the same color as the body. Looking at you car I was thinking a GN hump cut it out of a donor hood and weld it to the existing hood with a smooth transition into the existing vega hood nose design and then add GNX louvres and work in a shortened GN spoiler.
