I got harland sharp rockers, so need some v covers . I still will be running ac so want to know that theyll clear air box and compressor /bracketry.
TIA

youve posted several times on this and you're going to start making some newbies think theres an issue when none exist
let me put to this to rest
i know of no valvecovers made for our motor that wont work with ac, stage2 heads and ac thats another story
and the place its tight isnt the bracketry .. the ac compressor on the 86-87 sits infront of the block below the alternator so there is no way its an issue, its the ac box on the passenger side where it gets tight ,
some covers come close to the heat sheild on that box especially with worn stock mounts , other covers like the TA are designed to have more room there, with the champions the ac box makes the rear bolt a bear to get at but its doable just make sure the rear outer bolt is in the cover before you install the cover
to make things easier when you have your covers off just remove the shield as it does nothing but get in the way , its a leftover from the 84-85 hotair cars that had the turbo in the rear

btw the harlands need a little more height clearance more than the T&D so if you decide to do the rjc spacers be sure to pick up the thicker felpro 1600 gaskets and you might need to do a little trimming(grinding) of the stock covers inside by the bolt bosses on the inner
, if you do get the champions or the TA i wouldnt recommend the felpro perma dry gaskets , go with plain cork 50156C or the thicker felpro 1600
