Hey guys could anyone recomend a place or name of someone to purchase a complete set of weather stripping. Ive done the search want to get GM parts only, and its going to be for my 86 GN with astro roof. So I know i need both widows, astro roof, and trunk weather stripping(basically everything) I dont want any more leaks and would like to fix it the right way. Thanks.

That's where I got all of the weatherstripping for my 86 Astro roof about 6 months ago. They don't ususally list the gasket for the roof but they sometime have it available. I got mine for $90. The rest of the stuff is usually in stock. It all fits perfectly but it is not cheap by any stretch of the imagination...

cool thanks for the link. Id rather do it right then do it wrong, im still the original owner here :).

so the trunk w/s is part #1545

for the doors part #6902

I can't find the astro roof part. How many peices for everything(doors, windows, and trunk) I just want to make sure and end up buying 4 of the 5 peices for example and miss one that i need. Im not sure how many peieces there are total, to replace ALL the weather stripping. Thanks again for the link.

I don't have the part numbers off hand but here's what you'll need:

Each door has 3 pieces:
1) goes around the window
2) the door fuzzy strip
3) goes around the edge of the door to seal it when closed

The trunk of course is easy enough to find...
Under the hood there is a strip as well...

And for the Astro-roof, you must contact Kirban directly via email or phone and they'll let you know if they have any in stock...

Good Luck (it was a real PITA! :)

thank you very much, ill be calling them this week and ordering all the stripping. Very nice reply times on this one thanks again.

They are available on ebay but they're not GM OEM and don't always fit right according to numerous sources. I didn't want to have any leaks or issues so that's why I wend with Kirban.

Also, I'd recommend the window repair kit and window book from Kirban. My plastics (for the window) were shot and I replaced all of that and then used the alignment book to help adjust the windows to the new "fatter" stripping.
