I have read here that I'll need to install an AFPR along with say a thrasher chip to install this type of injector, However GNTType.org says otherwise. What can I do? Oh, and Whats the best way to get the fuel line off the rail? I tried following the Injector swap how to, and got stumped at that part.

I've been told that 36#s are the biggest injector that you can run with the stock prom. I guess that would include any aftermarket chip calibrated for stock injectors, too. I ran them with a Kenne Bell Ultimate chip for stock injectors without too many problems. But for optimum results (and why would you settle for less?), you should use a chip with 36# calibration. To get the fuel lines off the rail -- there is the supply side on the passenger side and the return side after the regulator on the driver side -- try two open-end wrenches. One to hold the fitting and one to turn the other off.
