GNX turbo has damage to fins on intake side, like small bolt or small debri bounced around awhile. Looking to have repaired or up-grade. Thanks.

parts you need are no longer in stock. i pulled mine off and changed to a ta60 and other parts to. gnx 403

does the regular gn turbo compressor and housing fit to a gnx turbo? if so i have a compressor wheel and housing....

GNX rebuildable?

Isn't the compressor side ceramic? Allowing for "quicker" spool-up? Try contacting the orginal manufacturer/aftermarket that deals with ceramic intake blades...If not I'd ask Garrett if they can stick a "GT" type compressor wheel on it. Sorry for the rambling...

Nope, it's the turbine wheel in the exhaust housing that's ceramic.
Nothing too special about the compressor side. Whether it's exactly the same size as a stock turbo, I can't say for sure, but I would bet they are.

Ah...

...so since the ceramic side is good, upgrade the compressor wheel to something more efficient than the original...:D Problem solved...until you see another original turbine for sale...

Thanks for the input guys, sounds like its not to big of a deal for repairs since the ceramic side looks good. So what compressor wheel would be good to switch to?

Try this...

Contact all the TR turbo guys, ask them what their professional opinions are, tell them your plan for your car/turbo and go from there...do your homework, narrow your choices down, choose the best that will compliment your setup...did I repeat myself? Ha..:D
