I need some help tuning. I made a full pass. Low 13's at 102mph. 15 lbs of boost, 45 FP, 93 octane, 55 degrees outside.
I have 780's to 790's O2 numbers.

PT52, 36 lbs injectors, stock D5, THDP, PTE 93 chip, 340 pump with hot wire.

Now I know everyone is going to say no to the 36 lbs injectors. I don't need them yet, I don't think. The car isn't fast enough. O2 numbers are okay.

I have a Direct Scan file of the pass if anyone wants to take a look at it and to help.

Be glad to look @ your ds file if ya want to e-mail it to me 86gn@insightbb.com .Your time does not look to bad for what you have right now @ only 15psi.bigger turbos really start to shine over stock when you run higher boost #s.Put some good tires and good gas(or alky / propain) in there turn up the wick and let it loose.

How about a hotter chip and a few more lbs. of boost. Run some good gas and you will be in the 12's with no problem. Are you running slicks? That makes all the difference in the world.

I'm currently running a 20 degree 93 octane chip. I have two degrees of knock now at 15-16lbs of boost. I can't run more boost until I get Alky. I would like to run 12.50's on street trim (true street trim)

Dual nozzle alky. system and a good 23*-21* street/alky. chip and 23-25psi. boost and sticky tires (DOT) and you are there.

Your car sounds like it has a decent tune already for 15 psi. boost.

Pump gas sucks without a little help. ;)

i would get yourself some 50's before you turn the turbo past 19psi or so but after that on your current 36#'s you will run way lean and probably pop a HG. just my 2 cents.

Just read the file.

First gear looks kinda funky... Was that the racetrack pass?

How did you shift 1-2?

IACV counts are high at idle too. ;)

Six second recording mark you seem to slip 100 rpms, not sure why... how's the tranny? miles and buildup?

100% Use of the injectors already so be careful you can turn up the boost with alky. but have to see how much....

4900 shift point is around normal you have stock valve springs or upgraded ones?

Drops to 3725 rpms on the shift.

21* timing in second and third gears. I'd go down a degree to get rid of the KR or get the alky in there soon. :)

2-3*KR in 3rd gear would probably go away with a 20* street chip.

You leave off the line at 2K rpms? Just wondering.

thanks for the info. to answer your questions.

1) that was not a racetrack run. and i did not start from a dead stop.

2) The 1-2 shift was done automatically. 2nd gear shift is getting weak.

3) My IAC should have been around 32 or so. If not, it was pretty cold that night, would that have changed the setting?

4) The tires did break loose a bit. That may be the 100 rpm slip.

5) The 100% duty cycle isn't until around 100 or 101 mph. I go throught traps at 102 so I'm just barely needing injectors. Am am using a PT52 turbo with blue tops. I know I am on the border of needing them.

5) I have stock springs. Is that good for 4900 shift? I was trying to figure out if I needed them.

6) Drops to 3725 on the shift. Bad or good.

7) I left an email for Joe Lubrant about the timing of my chip. No response yet. I am getting alky soon. Should I leave the 20 degrees in second and third for the soon to come alky or should I change the timing now?

8) The 2 to 3 degrees of knock in third is on a 20 degree chip. It's a Joe Lubrant 20 degree chip. I am aware that DS says 21.1.
Which is true?

9) This recorded run was not done at the track. When at the track, I leave the line at 2500 rpm. That's the most I can get with a stock D5.

Okay on the racetrack thing thought I was seeing things thinking this could be a racetrack pass. :D

I'd get rid of the stock springs and maybe you'll get a couple hundred more rpm out of it which might help you.

I'd keep the chip should be great for alky. inj.

With that you just up the boost until you see any knock then back down 1-2 psi. in boost.

I think you'll see 23psi. boost will be fine with a dual nozzle kit.

Maybe 24-25.

A 3K stall converter would be nice with the 52 turbo as well. :)
