Don't give up on the puppy, show the male you're the boss. Give it time, it'll be ok.

from my experience (with Pitbulls) the pup is usually squealing out of fear not from an actual bite. The Boys will usually bully the pups around specially boy on girl.
just watch the pup will squeal and run then come back for more in no time.
Before you know it The old boy will get annoyed and avoid the pup.

When ever he has those "hot button issues" have his favorite treats on hand then he will connect that when she is present good things happen. So have her come near you and call him and feed him treats. Do it over and over. He will be fine before long. He is just territorial. But the fact that he doesn't do it outside on neutral ground is a plus.
My family introduced a new pup to a grouchy 145lb Rottweiler he was still the boss but they turned to be best of friends.

I have had more than one dog at a time for the last 40 years and have sold over 65 puppies. You cannot make a judgement on one day. I guarantee you in less than a week they will be inseperable, probably in 2 days. My newest puppy came the day after Thanksgiving. And, if this is the first time you are training a puppy with an adult dog, you will be surprised how easy it will be. The adult dog will be the babysitter and the puppy will follow him everywhere. Housebreaking will take about 3 to 7 days. Make sure you use a crate.

they are doing fine now,i am using a crate for house training, but are you sure on the 3-7 days on a 12 week old puppy?

As far as new puppy training, pick up the book by Ian Dunbar.. Answers a lot of questions.. Read that when we got a new dog and he is the best one we have had so far.. 5 years old and messes in the house are counted on one hand.. And we call him Turbo.. :D

the pic of the bulldog in the pool (fawn/white)his name is turbo also :D,i would like to have a good name for the puppy, but they want to call her snowflake

Yup. My newest puppy, a chocolate lab, was housebroke in 4 days. We got him at 8 weeks old. I have had over a dozen puppies from 5 weeks to 8 weeks and none of them took longer than a week. The trick is not to let him out of your sight. If you are not paying attention to him put him in his crate. Take him out EVERY time he wakes up IMMEDTATELY. Take him out if he has been playing awhile. Take him out 15 minutes after every feeding. Pay close attention and housbreaking is easy. I bet the dogs are starting to get along pretty well by now. Another tip is to have plenty of stuffed toys and rawhide chew flips lying around. A little cluttered but you will not have chewed furniture and shoes. Our shoes are always lying amoung his toys and I have never had a shoe chewed, ever!

everything is now going great,i have house trained my boxer, doberman and chow in less than a week, but these bulldogs seem stubborn.she still uses the bathroom in her cage which is odd
