need ID

Hi there
I need to ID engine that I found in the seller of the company I work for ? The sheild over the turbo says GNX and by the look off it its brand new . How can I ID this engine????

Look on the flat surface of the transmission mounting area on the left side of the block. The VIN should be stamped there. Post it here, I may be able to tell you what type of car it came out of. The picture shows where it is stamped
