Need info before ordering kit/ chip.

I am looking to order a kit from Razor, but would like to get some input before I order it, and a chip from Eric.

What timing is the norm?

What boost is the regular setting?

I understand I have to tell Eric a few specifics, like boost I will run, timing, etc.

This car will be my daily driver. I'd like to run 22-23 psi regular (maybe safe at 20???), maybe 25-27 at the track. Is that crazy?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. :biggrin:

Nevermind. I am so impatient I went ahead and ordered a TT chip and a kit from Razor. :biggrin:

The TT site was pretty good, answered some of my above questions. I ordered a 91 octane alky chip, gave all my descriptions, etc. Can't wait!!!

It is well worth the wait. I got my chip and it works well! Eric will Fed Ex it ovenight if you are willing to pay. Brad

Probably the single biggest performance gain from any bolt-on parts IMHO..... go from 13 psi... to 25 psi.... and still run on pump gas..... gotta love that....

Yup, could'nt agree more. I just finished my Razor alky kit install last night and tested everything dry and she all worked. I should have my chip from Eric by today most likely. Cant wait to test her with some alky. I have 5 gallons of meth waiting to be poured in . It took me a total of about 6-7 hours to perform the installation, this was over 3 days since I was doing everything after work. I enjoyed the installation since I have never done some of these things before. If you need any help dont hesitate since I just finished it everything is still fresh.

Sweet! I hope to have them by end of next week, kit and chip. I know both guys are busy, especially since we are getting into nicer weather. I may take you up on the offer when things get here. I am getting crazy excited. :biggrin:
