Need info

I am looking at buying a 79 regal turbo, but I know very little about the cars. Any information anyone can provide on reliability, ease of modifications, or anything else would be helpful. I would like to shoot for low 14's, and still have a street legal car. The car has low miles, and the owner claims to have excellent records of service.

They can be very reliable if the owners takes time to learn about the differences of the turbo set up. The timing and fuel systems are a little different. They respond extremely well to modifications. Keep them tuned, keep them from detonating, and then increase the boost. 14's is a very reasonable time, IMO
