I'm going to go look at this Regal this week and I wanted to get some opinions on the car what price it should be. Any input would be great thanks.

Autocheck and carfax says the milage is certified. I'm sure the car has been repainted so I'll be looking at that really hard.

Might be worth looking into as to why the grille is the incorrect year and why the headlamp bezels are the W02 option yet it's a factory chrome car. Sort of tells me it may have also experienced a nose collision, though not being reported. Remember carfax doesn't show you anything.

Looks like it's also missing the wheel well moldings and a/c as well as the overdrive tranny. The B&M shift kit in the tranny should be good for filling jarring shifts. Wonder what the electric button on the trans hump is...trans brake?

You can add 10% for the "scanmaster boost controller" and the redneck torque converter. :D

Overall a nice looking driver, but I don't think it's worth the $11k he's asking for it.

look close at the paint job . NO heat or AC ... NICE  Being from a salt belt look at the bottoms of the doors, rear quarters, trunk lid and floors. way over priced from what I can see. BUT beauty is in the eye of the beholder :p

I went and saw the car. The paint looked ok but it was a cheap job. I saw some over spray on the trim and a couple spots where they didn't fill and sand enough. The was dirty but over all look good. The interior was very clean. They couldn't get it started. They tried jumping but it wouldn't start.
The starter was turning over fine with the jump but it wouldn't start (this was after 20 mins of having the jumper cables hooked up). Then the guy ask me if I want to stick around to see if they can get it started. He gets around to asking if I just wanted to see it run. I told him I would like to drive it and he says he couldn't let me. He said it was to big of a liablity to drive it because of the weather. It was dry and 30 degrees out when he told me this. I purposely went yesterday because I knew it was going to snow all week. Well I explained I will never buy a car with out driving it and then I left. Over all it is a clean street/driver car. It was listed for 14k and now it's 11k. I doubt he will come down very much in price. After researching the market on these cars I would be willing to pay 8-9k for a fair price.

If he's not willing to let you test drive it, is a good reason to walk away. Good on you. Sounds like this car might be worth $7k-$8k...if it will even start.

When they were trying to jump the car, did you hear if the fuel pump was working or not? That could be why it didn't start....could also be a cam sensor or even the fuel pump relay or even a fuse.
