need recommendation on turbo

Well my TE44 is about to eat itself up, shaft play , leaking seals you know. Anyway, I'm either wanting to try a TA49, or a TE60. Mods are in sig, I'm kind of leaning tword the 49 but am up for suggestions on these two turbos. Thanks

Depends on what type of power you want to make.. I like the PT52 personally and your 50's would support that.. but a TE60 would spool faster and a TE44 like you have "should" spool faster among the 3. A TA49 will spool even faster, but only enough power for 11.60's reasonably.

All this depends on if your 3000 stall converter works well. Just compare the TE60, then pt52 considering it will add a little lag to your spool up.

Any bigger of a turbo and you'd be out of fuel.

I would get a 61/57 or 61/62.
The 57 has a similar turbine wheel as your 44.
The 62 would be a little less responsive but would have less back pressure.

looking @ the GT 6152E standard bearing ...........how does this one work with a 3000 stall and 50s?
