I have been spending alot of time and money on my new motor setup....now I have to start looking at the suspension. The car is driven on street, but I am willing to give up some comforts there for good 60's :)

Right now my car has:
-Metco lowers and adj. uppers
-I have the brackets that move the center of gravity, just not installed yet
-KYB shocks
-Hotchkis sport springs (very stiff and lower the car about 1-2")
-ATR rear sway bar
-no front sway bar
-rear airbags
-all newer front and rear poly bushings
-I plan on getting new 10.5x28x15 slicks and front runners
-a 6pt roll cage will be added soon
-transbrake

Last year my best 60' was a high 1.5x. I usually had constant 1.6x's.

What do I need to remove or add to make this car launch hard? I don't want to break the bank either....the new motor is taking care of that ;)

TIA

Adjust your uppers for about a -4 pinion angle

You can try those springs but you may have to get a softer spring. Those springs are pretty stiff I bet. A 14 inch QA1 coil over spring in the 130# range may be better.

We have a similiar set-up to yours though with stock springs and it's 60'd in the 1.44 range.

A buddy's car has all stock parts with a ATR bar and has 60'd a 1.41 with only an air bag

Both cars run low 6's in the 1/8th
