You need to limit your calories to 1000 a day and excersise. You dont have to run but if you can walk 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening you can lose the 20 lbs in as little as 21 days. I went on a liquid diet with hmr a diet programn and lost 110 lbs in 5 months with 28 in the 1st 30days. You have to join this programn but could reach the same results with slim fast drinks. They have a new optima drink that is 180 calories each and you could drink 5 or 6 of these a day. Add supplements and drink lots of water and you will lose 20lbs easily in 45 days
 
You can lose close to 20# easily in less than 1 hour!

i can't really think depriving your body of cabs is a good thing. i'd say just cut back on everything you eat, 0 fast food, thats the biggest thing i could possibly suggest, not even a mc d's salad. dont' touch a soda. one thing that might be a half way good idea would be a sugarless red bull, only for the purpose of raising your metabolism. but the other thing that will raise your metabolism is working out. i wouldnt' do any lifting at all, muscle is heavier than fat. running is good, if you can start swimming its more of a full body work out and will burn more calories over a shorter ammount of time. go to gnc and see what they have, i know they have some stuff that makes you s*** like a goose and is sopoust to clean you out, thats got to be good for a pound or 2. and if your close on the last day or 2 dehidrate the hell out of yourself, i wouldn't sugest it to anyone but if you need an extra pound thats a good place to get it.

are u sure? everything i have ever read on losing weight has said that both caffeine and smoking up the metab rate but both are bad ways to do it. my grandpa also said that back in the 1930s his wife was overweight and the doc told her to start smoking (haha) and she lost 15 lbs quickly. another buddy also lost 10 lbs when he picked up smoking again after stopping. i got a Navy SEAL workout book i bought and in it, it says also that smoking and caffeine up metabolism but are bad ways.
 
My high school wrestling diet.

Morning- grapefruit juice
Noon- water
Evening- a light healthy meal under 500 calories

stay away from dairy if you can
no beer or soda!!
wind sprints.....lots of them

from the navy to the army ok seen a lot of army to navy when station on ship 1 marine 354 sailors odds was even on the ship
as per my earlier reply I was on limited duty when I went to Recruiter School, was on crutches with bone spur caff speeds up metab for short period but body copensates after 1wk or 2

if your on base then you have a pool . go to pool at lunch swimming is low impact on joint and works every muscel in your body best tone excecise there is.

the PT twice a day before work speeds body up and will burn energy at high rate if you swim at lunch will tone body as you lose wt evening pt burns off excess in take and continue to speed metab while sleeping

your body requires fuel carbs is high energy protein build muscels
low carb/low fat intake requires body to take excess energy requirement from body fat If you live on ship or eat in mess hall Navy diet is high carb(highstarch)rice, cereals, noodles patatos
corn

all above are called complicated carbs 24hrs to burn off what ever you intake dairy contains lots of fat it slow metab body draws what it needs and stores 75% each 24hr period

sounds easy but not the key control type of intake do not starve your body and excersie running works lower body and cardio
sit ups works middle of body pull ups works stomach and upper boby all threes combined will reshape body oh as a lot of people have posted water is a key drink water all through the day At least 2 or 3 bottles of water every day and drink througout the nite hope this will help but to bring it down to a point speed the body up (excersie) and you will loss wt control in take and wt will come off oh no bread no bread no bread no bread

Stay away from anything that contains sugar and or flour products. Exercise 5 days a week alternating with cardio and strength training. Rest 2 days, Then start over again. Drink plenty of water !!! 45 days will fly by.......remember to read all food product lables....NOTHING with sugar, NOTHING with flour !!! Eat 5 small meals a day (nothing after 7pm except LOTS of water), This should get you into your target range with no problem !!!
