Negative Batter Cable Problems

Alright, my TTA is giving me a headache. The car started running rough, when I turned the lights on the car would stutter and eventually shut off. Now the wire from the negative battery cable to the inner fender burnt in half and the battery exploded, literally. I replaced the wire to the inner fender and it started smoking and acting the same as the other wire did.


So my question is, bad ground connection??? Or?????

Sounds like a dangerous dead short somewhere and those cables are the weak link.

Look for a short down near the starter area or positive cable welded to something.

BE CAREFUL!
