Neutral Switch & EGR

I came across this thread

which says if the INT on scanmaster does not change while key on/engine off, the neutral safety switch is bust. Could a failure of the switch cause the EGR to function in park, causing the car to misfire/pop at idle or any rpm while in park? Smog chip with EGR enabled.

Nix that, PL showing gear changes, or does it take into account the neutral switch? It is showing EGR at 0% all the time though, that should be non-zero with a smog chip I'd think? On a separate issue, PL responds to F1-5 on my laptop, but not F8-12 as I'd like to change the graphs and post a log.
