Paid a visit to Bison today and had one of his 6262 journal bearing turbos installed. He also did the tuning and these are the results. He really knows his stuff! Spools much faster than my old 70mm.

You paid a visit to the right guy! :) Good to hear!

This car is brutal. Nothing else to say about it. Thanks Chris.

For you to say the car is brutal, it must be some car!!! I'm impressed!! :)

Great combo and great numbers! I am thinking of running the same cam in a new motor i am currently working on. Where did the power start to decline?
I cant read the numbers on the graph, are the dips in the power curve boost & AFR related?

Power started to dip at around 5500. On the street the car spools quick and sits right in the sweet spot of the power band. I'm very happy with the combo.

Where did you source your cam (ductile or billet?) and lifters (Morel?) This appears to work great with a 6262!

Sorry I don't have the answers to your questions. I bought the car 7 years ago and the motor was built by the previous owner and I was not provided much documentation.

We are unsure of the heads exact work but they are performing as well as anything thats available out there. Steve if you want a hyd cam that will make more power with your combo i can spec something. We can decrease overlap and spread the lobes to deal with the back pressure.

If you want to trap 132mph just go with an inch taller tire. That converter couples so hard you only need about 5600 to go 132mph. The engine has enough to run the number. That engine dynoed about 30whp higher than the one in my blue car ever did on the old combo and it went 10.61@127.85 on that old combo. The air was much better for my times and dyno tests too. You probably had the 2nd worst air ive ever dynoed a car in. Once i dynoed a car and the shop was 103 degrees and another time it was 101 degrees but both of those times were at about 10 feet above sea level and humidity wasnt as bad as yesterday.

Yeah I could barely breathe so I'm guessing the car was a little choked as well. I'll stop by in the fall when it cools down and we'll go for 600rwhp......I need the Buick to have more power than my Charger lol.

I have a short block I am working on. I am researching the Hyd Rollers, Ductile vs Billet, drive gear wear, etc. I will be a street cruiser with some track time. It may become part of a new project with a 6262 or be a replacement for my current short block.
