Honestly...if Flaco beats me at the track...I'll take pride in knowing that I guided him to Papa Lou for a proper, reliable and strong build.

Yes you did Flaco & I thank you for it. Also spoke to a guy today who claimed he got into it with some bald guy in a GN from a light who kept up with him & then edged you out by a fender. Obviously not one of your kills. He has a blue C5 corvette that runs in the lo 11's & said your car was fast.

Yup....that was the blue one that got me a few weeks back. We rolled into it and nailed it about the same time at 20 or so mph. In third, he fendered me before I let out cuz there was a car up ahead in my lane....but he had me and it would have gotten worse from there.

I'll see him again...this time with my exhaust leaks fixed and sporting a bigger/better turbo....and I plan on pay back.:biggrin:

I also had a passenger that weighs about 175lbs so that extra weight didn't help me against a fast Vette.
I'm sure I can come up with some more excuses....but I won't need them next time...:biggrin:

That WG hole looks kinda small. Did you remember to ask for the ported WG hole like I said. If not, you'll overboost and Lou will have to give you that new short block before Christmas. Also, if your interested, I've got the high temp, cast iron paint at my house so it wont rust. I know that you like that patina, rat rod look though.

It sounded very healthy (a lot like yours did before you took everything back off). I was talking to my passenger as we sat at the red and said to him, "That aint stock....it's at least got a cam, exhaust kit and tune on it....let's see if he goes."

Yup the WG hole is smaller than the one on the TA61....I'm taking it over to Lou today to have it ported and matched to my WG puck, and to have him beed blast and paint the better pair of the two sets of headers I now have. :biggrin:

I also have to figure out what to do about the oil feed line...I'm noodling whether to invest in one of those TR Customs Turbo Savers, or manipulate the stock feed to fit.
