yea the pontiac g8 is the ssv commodore all we do is change a few things then send it over to you's
the classic group c class was the best racing you caould watch, very competitive, all makes and models, the best part was if you had the money what you saw racing you could actually buy off the showroom floor, but when they changed to international group A rules it killed off group c, , the cars that were then raced only needed 500 road going versions made to qualify for racing, so cars like the hsv vl ss group a, the walkinshaw and the vn ss group a were born, but in '93 they went to the V8 supercars so now its holden Vs ford only,
we still have races over here with the group c cars its called the muscle car masters there is one on in october, you can watch them on you tube
as for the left hand drive thing over here if the car is 30yrs or older you can leave it LHD but anything 1979 or newer has to be converted to RHD which is expencive to do
