Went to the track a couple of fridays ago and got a best 60ft of 1.48 of the t-brake. Didnt best my time but only .02 off. 11.40 @ 117. Then had charging issues turned out it was a loose connection at the volt light. The rjc boost controller is maxed out. so i added 2 % more fuel and picked up .06 w/ a 1.51 60ft. went 11.48 w/ the 1.48 60 to a 11.40 w/ 1.51 60ft.

Those are some darn solid 60fts with a 11.3x car man!

Nice 60ft. I raced last night in my clone and it was my first time on slicks ever, 28x9 MT ET Drags. My first pass netted a 1.55 60ft on a 3000 rpm launch off the t-brake, the first pass on a new TT chip, for a 11.64@113 on a TE44. On the second pass I put some timing in 1/2 and took out some 1st gear fuel. The track had cooled off and I was right after the street cars and I tried leaving harder at 3500 rpm and spun bad. Didn't get a third pass as it was late and a big oil down.

I probably needed a little less air in the tires. I wanted to get used to them first and ran a little higher air pressure. I'm going to keep it at a 3000 rpm launch with 14psi in the tires and figure the higher 1/2 timing and less 1st gear fuel may get me in the 1.4s.

What air pressure are you running in your slicks? To get more boost out of an RJC boost controller I've stretched the spring and switched to a stiffer spring. Seems to max out at low to mid 20s psi on the stock RJC spring, depending on combo.

Nice times man. I'm hoping I can get some similar times(with a few more mods) with the 86-T I just bought.

Thanks guys, Direct scan showed about a 4600 rpm launch off the t-brake.
my air pressure was 15 psi in the slicks and i think 15 psi in the rt. air bag and 12 in the left. I was running 25 psi . and on my last pass since i was maxed out on boost i added 2 % fuel in the translator and picked up .08 w/ a .04 worse 60ft. Sorry in the first post i said .06 my math was bad it is .08 11.48 w/ 1.48 60ft to a 11.40 w/ a 1.51 60ft
