Your kidding right? You must have not owned a turbo buick for long.

Greg has shared more, been there more, and forgotten more than you can ever hope to learn. He's one of the "old timers" in Buicks who no longer posts much because of caustic remarks like yours.

I'm sure if you offered an apology to Greg he'd accept it since he's also a very nice person. And in the future, when you need to know something he'll remember the apology and give you the correct answer.

THE WAY I SEE THE MORE INFO OUT THERE ON THESE CARS THE BETTER ALSO TRYING TO GAT A MONTHLY MAGAZINE JUST ON BUICK GRAND NATIONALS AND T TYPES GOING G BODIES ALSO MONTE CARLOS SUPER SPORTS AND EL CAMINOS SS THAT IS MY DREAM:cool: :D :o

I don't care if there is another board, the more the merryier. I don't like the color scheme there though. I find it hard to read.

Down boy! Was just a sarcastic remark and I'm sure Greg realizes that! More is better.. Change is good.. New just shows the growth and recognition these cars need and deserve and anyone who owns a turbo Buick is all about that! GNBUICK87 idea of a monthly magazine is an awesome idea as well! :D

Chris, Dave, I appreciate your support & kind words.

I wasn't as much offended by Jim as I was amused by his presumption that I was a newbie because I questioned the value of forum #99.:p

I can still remember back when the best exchange of ideas on these Buicks was the e-mail list. I have seen the birth of all these additional forums over the years and, while I'm a member of all the forums I mentioned above, admittedly I spend most of my surfing time here (and the rest at www.V8Buick.com). Philly, are you even old enough to remember that Buick once made V8s?;)

It's a shame that the other boards were formed mostly out of frustration with rules, abrasive members, etc. but I suppose that's just the natural progression of life.

I hear ya Greg and I know what ya mean for sure! I'm new still so I hate to see all the mess that goes on between the boards.. information is a wonderful thing esp when it's free and people enjoy giving it. As I always say.. can't we all just get along!

Oh and tell me more about this Buick V8 and how I can get one in my GN! :D :p

Ha your only a year older then me I see! :p ;) Ok so how do I get on this Buick e-mail list you talk about?! :)

Since we had to rehost GN/TTYpe on a Windblows platform, the email side of the list is down.

Scott Keller has a little test list going, but he's a little gun shy of all the work involved in keeping that kind of thing running.

The GN/TType Discussion forum is up and running again (yet another BBS :)) and we hope there's some easy way to get the email list back online.

Any suggestions or offers of help can be sent to:

keller_s@swbell.net

Anyway, we're still here ... it's been going on 12 years now for the GN/TType.org domain and even longer since we started with a personal email list!

Thanks!

GN//TYPE dot org is number one on my list!! I just need to remind my self to go there more often! Thanks for keeping it alive! :D :)
