the reason why i love my car so much is because have you ever sat in the back seat of a camaro or trans am or hell even a mustang for that matter...UNCOMFORTABLE!

the GN can seat 5 comfortably...it has a HUGE trunk (you can fit $300 worth of groceries in there)...if it looks stock cops don't give it a second look...it's only a 6 cylinder...and they can be made VERY streetable even running in the 10's!!! how many cars can you say can do that...i can drive to the track with 4 other people in the car...air conditioning blasting cold air...change to slicks and race gas...run mid to high 11's all day long...and then head home while getting 25 mpg and the car idling like a cadillac...

THAT's why these cars are awesome...screw the new cars! they are way over priced! you can't get ANYTHING decent for under 20k anymore:(

Well last night I went to the strip, raced 3 times & came home with my GN..
I left with a little over 3/4 tank & came home with under 3/4
I am a good 30 miles away..

The car is a great 80's car.

You can never compare some of todays advances about todays cars.. They are always improving.. The target or mark keeps
changing.

I have to agree the GN's motor stands the test of time. The body & suspention lack but still give a nice ride & has room.

I saw 30k WRX's MANY of them running 13's last night. I thought small (not for me) I thought handling ( Yup it has 17's years it should have handleing for $30k

Sure are some fast new cars out there,, just hope history does'nt repeat itself, the end of the 60's era supercar and the 80's superbikes: wrecks and the insurance companies, high technology aside, people have'nt changed , we'll see. Despite the turbo Buicks are old, so are the 60's musclecars, 50's cars and street rods, and it is hard to tell by looking whos stock and who is'nt, and there is some high tech old stuff out there that will more than suprise and blow the doors off the new stuff. There are a lot of sharp hot rodders out there (and here), that keep the old girls running hard, and not just the 1/4 either, some neat old stuff with high tech cornering hardware, don't under estimate because of age. Oh a real good thing about old turbo Buicks, most are probably paid for and owners have tiltle, how do new cars run for title when there owned by the banK!

I always thought the Big Block Buicks had a slight edge over the two previously mentioned boat anchors.... errrr other big blocks. ;)
