New "Classic Rock" Station 105.9 FM

Enjoyed listening to Boston, Led Zep, Aerosmith, etc.. today.

Finally, A "real" rock station!!

Well, I'm going to have to give it a listen. We haven't had a good rock station in years. At least since the old KTUH/98 Rock days...

Don't preset the station just yet. Their (105.9) playlist is still somewhat um..... limited.

I'm going to call them and make a few song requests.

Yeah, I noticed that about the playlist. I was like, "didn't I just hear that song about 10 minutes ago?"
Oh well, just give them time, I guess. At least there's one station *trying* to play good rock music. All this new "alternative/grunge/etc...." is OK, but not really my cup of tea. 98Rock, I mean KPOI, used to play good stuff but gave in to the mainstream.
I wish 105.9 the best. I hope they don't go the way of ZRock. Remember that? 98.5. One of my favs back in the 80's.

Lots of songs added to playlist!

I remember "My Rock" . The logo on their bumper sticker was a hand grabbing some lightning bolts. Orange in color I think.

Whew, that was a while ago.

Z-Rock sounds familiar........

I've heard some songs recenltly that I haven't heard for years!
