Yeah, i've noticed the new member names as well.

I think Ohio has always had a lot of turbo buick owners, there used to be a member list that showed where everyone was from i think it was on the GNTTYPE website and may still be.

Yeah,i just looked over on www.gnttype.org and they have a listing of members by state but they are working on it so it's down right now.

Nah, it's just slow to no Moderation, too many non-tech. topics in the TURBOBUICK tech. section. ;) :p

Yeah there is alot of new faces (screen names  ) I think there are alot of buicks in the Northeast, and I think NC has alot also.

Hey what is wrong with being from Ohio.........oh wait a minute, I see that is where you are from too:biggrin:

Indiana and Ohio! I just moved to Indiana (right on the border), but still work in Ohio. I know of a lot of TR people all within 2 hours of me.

HEY- Face it: Ohio is a good place to be FROM! I moved out of Cleveland almost 40 years ago, and never regretted it a bit. People have gone into outer space, and the moon even, to get away from Ohio.;) (NASA - Ohio Astronauts)

Also most of there posts are, I want to buy a GN or GNX and they make some stupid low ball offer.....

My case is a little unique. I've been a member since '04 but am in fact, a newbie. And here's why:

Purchased my 80,000 mile 86 T in the winter of '03 with a known holed #3 piston. A true case of the original owner not knowing what he really had. The interior of the car was/is spotless, and completely bone stock in every way. Other than the typical clearcoat issues on the white paint, and the aforementioned engine problem...........a beautiful car for $1200.00:biggrin:

After purchasing the T, I immediately placed it in storage until I could give it the attention it deserves, due to my heavy travel schedule. Monitoring the board often and doing as much diligence as I could to completely understand my goals based on what you, the collective experts had to offer.

Fast forward 6 years...she's had a fresh rebuild, some modest bolt on parts, and being dialed in daily. Thus the recent tech questions and posts.

Hi, I'm Brad in beautiful southwest Missouri! I'm an avid tinkerer, long distance motorcycle traveler/collector. Thanks for all the help thus far!
