New England Dragway rumor

Has anyone heard about New England dragway closing for the 2006 season for a complete Rebuild to NHRA specs? I was told they were going to build a staduim style dragway park with a motocross track too. Guess they want to model it after englishtown to which I have never been.

Yes it does sound like it will be a NICER place.
Just the fact of a MOTO Cross track there will also be great.

I would love to see a BIG NHRA funny car event

it would be perdy damn cool if a facility put money in to it to make it a world class track. i wish our local track would do that!

nah I don't go up there that much in the last year or so . Melissa still works there to keep her foot in the door so when they sell out I can be there first to buy it and sell it off piece by piece
