Well i finally got it done. Here are the pics. They will be on ebay since vendor fees will actually cost me money and im not making much off of these at all. Just helping out!

Uses the same material and methods as GM used to apply the logo. On a factory NOS correct Part # hood pad.

Man i have been working on this for a while. I may just change mine every year now hahaha. Thanks!

I'm not sure. I have a shop doing it. I know it's the same material and process as GM used because he got it from their suppliers. It is heated and pressed on. That's all I know.

I think if you can find a way to have the 9th hole put in. It would justify the price tag. I know the 8 hole ones are more than what your asking but they need to be a little more affordable to attract this market of cheap skates!! I'm one of them. It's definitely a part that needs to be reproduced again!! Good luck.

Yea Just can't bring myself to pay that much.when you can get alky for the same price.

I agree 100%. but 500 is better than 800 any day. I wish they were still available from GM for $100.

New thread eh? :D
Ahh..I see you listened to someone about working with a couple of the vendors to avoid the wrath of Khan - or GM attorneys. ;)
Good move.

So - exactly how much for these?
Is it $525 + $95?
Can't be.

If the 8 hole non-screened units are roughly $175 from the GM dealer
Then it would seem to me that that $525 is overkill.
Get that price point down into the low to mid 3's - plus shipping - and you might have a winner.
8 hole, 9 hole, hell - 13 holes - personally I wouldn't care about that 8 vs 9 thing.
And besides - to my knowledge - you can't get the 9's - so it's a moot point.

Well - hell.
They just not long ago posted something where someone said they ordered it through the GM dealer, there was no shipping since it was coming into the dealer via the parts wagon train I suppose, and it was like $175 or something.

But you know - this is the internet - and so it must all be true!
:D

I'll have to go by my friendly ,weird, Enclave dealer - I mean Buick dealer and try to buy one I suppose.
;)
