how are these new drag radial tires anyone out there run these yet and get traction? i run et streets slicks for everday use and when i get a good hook i always pop a tube and i want to get a set of these just wondering who found them for the cheapest and what they go for? also i run 26x11.5x16 what size would that equal for a street radial to fit???? i want the sam fattnes out back!!! thxs greg ;)

I have the 275/60-15's and they are great on the street and for cruising around even on the highway and believe it or not i even drove them in the snow and they were great. The only thing i havent done yet is try them at the drag strip but since i saw them on cars going in the 7's at orlando last october im not worried about it.

i have the 275 /50/ 15's they hook great i run a 1.71 60ft without a cherp i now i can get way into the 1.6 60ft but my stock stall and a eghuast leak held me back a bit.

 dang, I thought I was crazy for driving on mine in the rain several times. I don't think I'd want to try them out in snow though.

M/T streets

To 85 TR,
what inflation did you find to work the best for 60 ft. time?

I am running them at about 14 psi with a good heating.. they dont hook as well as my BFG DRs...best 60 was 1.83 as opposed to a 1.63 on BFGs :)

I have 275/60's on my T-Type and I ran a 10.81 on them with a 1.57 60' a few weekends ago.

M/Ts

That's great ...................... but what amount of air pressure were they inflated to? And how much pressure in your air bags (if you use them)?
Thanks In Advance ;)

My car has UMI adjustable uppers and tubular lowers and air bags. I run 13 psi in the right air bag and 3 psi in the left. The 1.57 60' on DR's was with 22 psi in them. I have heard of people running anywhere from 12 psi to 32 psi in them so I just deicided to start at 22 psi and it worked so I stayed there. There may be some advantage to lower tire pressure and I want to check into that but I have not tired it yet.

I would say they work pretty damn good.

275/60/15 on stock t-type rim.

M/T radials

I run 14 psi and Got a 1.62 60 and ran 10.44 at 131.6

My street car that is. :)

McCormack racing in Lincoln Park, MI sells 275/60/15 for $135 Each. I will be ther getting some soon.

I run the 325/50/15 as my street tire (15x10 w/5" BS & frame notch).

I haven't run them at the track yet, but they hook awesome on the street. I also have about 500 miles on them with no noticeable wear. They have a pretty stiff sidewall so handling is better than I expected. At the track I'd expect to 60' in the high 1.5x range (maybe better?), but then again they are larger than most guys will run on a TR.
