New Member and future GN owner

Hello everyone. I grew up always seeing the GNs but by the time I was old enough to drive, it was no longer available. Now that I am older, I have decided to go after and find an 87 GN. As I started my homework, I see several options there were available, but have not found a website that can outline what was available. Also I know there are clones out there, but this should be easily identified by the VIN correct? Any help or pointers on what I should look for would be appreciated. Thanks
