Well I figured I'd make my 1st post in the Texas forum since I'm from Beaumont. I've had 2 GN's in the past. Sold my last one to a friend that has only driven it 9000 miles in 13 years. I currently drive an NSX but have never shaken that GN fever. As much as I love my Acura, I feel the need for a GN overtaking me, LOL. Anyway, I've been lurking in the classifieds awhile hoping for a low mile/one owner stocker as a platform to start. I'm not sure how many are in the Houston area but hopefully I can find what I'm looking for and become part of the Houston area family. Anyway, glad to be aboard.:wink:

Welcome aboard! I don't know of any lower mileage stickers for sale but e ery once in a while a good deal will pop up. Good luck on the search!

LMAO! If your speaking of Joels car then yes it see's it's share of diapers. He's talked about selling it back to me but he wants a lot for it. It's gonna be hard passing up that paint job though. I likely won't find a nicer GN than that one. Hopefully it comes with a good supply of diapers.

I know he wants alot for the car, but in all my years of car shows, Buick events, and drag strip events...I have never seen a Grand National as clean.

Even the trailer queens have lost at car shows to Joel's car. I would feel a little guilty driving that thing all across the state and beating the balls off of it, knowing how much sweat and blood (not to mention money) Joel has put in that thing. But in the end, I know Joel would want you to be happy...leaving two black stripes, 300 yards in length, down Dowlen

.... And why not boost the NSX? Turbo NSX for a daily driver and a GN for the weekend toy. I only see a win/win in that scenario.

The Houston Buick Club will have 6 cars on display at the Autorama this weekend, you should be able to meet several members there. Again, check out The Houston Buick Club you can get info on upcoming club events & be sure to sign up for the club's email list while you're there.

Looks like the Lightning will be sold next week, so the hunt shall get kicked up a notch---just need to sell the four wheeler to free up the rest of the garage.

I've been wanting a Stage II this go around, but feel as if my lack of knowledge and a lack of free time (up to two kids now) are going to force me to look at a 109 car again. Plus the move into the new house, the new career (which I frig'n love) all equalls to a lack of track time. So a more streetable option is the way to go for me...I think...hell, who knows. Heck, I've even talked to Russ about buying S10xGN. Picture my and Andria's big asses in that little S10-shoulder to shoulder and her knees in the front glass. The kids would have to be strapped down in the bed.

And for those of you that might want to purchase a vehicle from David, I can vouch for his OCD when it comes to automobiles. From the GN to the MR2 to the 350Z to the VW from HELL to the NSX...all look showroom clean from the date of his ownership to the day he sells them.
