I am currently in the market to buy a GN. I just had a few questions about driveabiltiy. I plan on using the car as a daily driver for a few years, how do the buick's far with daily driving I live in tampa so it will see no snow. Also I am coming from a 95 Z28 what are some of the major differences between the two cars? What year(s) do you reccomend looking for? What are some of the major problem areas with the turbo buicks? Last but not least what should I look for in buying a turbo buick? Thanks for your time
Brock

Heres a good buyers guide to looking at Turbo Buicks:

I had the exact situation as you, sold my 95 6 speed Z28 to buy a GN. After I got into modding it, there is no turning back. The GN is way easier to work on, and I am enjoying it tremendously. I see no problem daily driving your GN, just keep up on maintenance, many on this board have a lot of miles on theirs, and these are modded cars most of the time. My car has been nothing but reliable. If you have any other questions lemme know.

These cars can be pretty reliable, but remember, you're looking at a 20 year old car for daily transportation. Things will break.

I love driving this car, its great for a daily driver. Just dont mod it so much or things break faster than usual. But I came off of driving a saab and I drive a 96 capalla SS and I hate it compared to the T. Buy one! you wont regret it.

i used to have a couple 4th gen f-bodys. only thing i miss is shifting. my buick has been the most dependable car ive ever owned by far and easiest to work on even with 110k mi on it. no optispark to worry about and plugs are a piece of cake to change compared to a z28. as far as a good daily driver,i drive and beat on mine everyday and the car has never let me down yet. good luck

Just what I want to hear! Thanks for all the input, any more info is very much welcomed! What about security? I hear about alot of these getting stolen?

Hide a fuel pump cutoff switch, and a few other cutoff's, and you'll be fine.
