Hello guys.

I'm a former member who's been out of the game awhile.

Got a question that maybe you guys can help me with.

I had Weber Racing build me a new motor back in Oct. 2001.

It's been sitting, out of the weather, on a pallet since.

Long story.

Is there maybe a few things I should check out before installing it.

I can give you some more info if needed..thanks. :)

If they used plenty of assembly lube when they put it together, then you should be good to drop it in a car, pre-oil it, and go.

Yeah..I'm pretty sure it's as it should be.

I appreciate the reply. Pretty much what I figured..but it sure doesn't hurt to ask. ;)

Any additional comments welcome.

Thanks.

Sitting out in the elements for 2 years.
I certainly wouldn't advise doing anythign less than a complete tear down and inspection!!!!

At the very least there's going to be tons of condensation and the by products inside there.

He said "Out of the weather", not in it.

I'd run it back over to weber and just have them check it, better safe than sorry
