Welcome aboard as far as the hooker headers do a search before installing them they may actually hurt you more than help stock manifolds have been into the 10s a better alternative is the TA headers but they are pricey

I would start here, Vortex Turbo Buick Performance for reading up on your new beast!
I also agree with 87granny, try to get your money back on the headers, the cat back part is good though....
As far as guessing your time in the 1/4 mile........ easy 12's and on a good tune with alky or race gas 11's (higher boost)

Chuck

ur not the first to mention about those headers.i will probly sale them off on craigslist or something, and i am going for the alky kit thats next on the list right before a better torque converter. if i cant get it in the low 10s by mid sep im gonna c if i can take it to the track.

thanx 4 the info

Also you may wanna look into some kind of scan tool to monitor the o2 knock and other parameters you will need it to tune as well

yes. the cheapest and easiest to use is a scanmaster.

x2 get a scanmaster to monitor knock, 02, iac blm, int, and if you want to do advanced you can get powerlogger and a lap top to data log your runs. Did you read the site Cuck posted it's a good starting point read the section about scan tools it's a very informative site

As far as the Hookers, this is what I do with them. They work well for an NA car or you can do like I'm doing. Cut them up to make what you want for a header. I'm just starting to make them so I don't have all of the pics yet to do a thread.
