I just wanted to let everyone see my new paint job. I am no longer a primer gray and rust Buick. Yea Me. I have found a couple of mistakes that I will have to take up with the paint guy, but all in all I think it looks good. Before anyone ask yes I have rims just need to save up the money for tires. GNX rims are what I am putting on it.

My Site

I had to resize it for it to fit on the page I will post a better pic tomorrow.

Hey, looks great! Glad you got a good job. What color was it originally? Got more pics?

GNX rims

Put up some pics of those rims, I'm still waiting to see how the turned out.

It would look real nice if you got some better looking wheels on there or cleaned up the stock ones. The paint looks a heck of a lot better than it did before the repaint.

Do you have athletes feet:eek: :D

Car looks great get some new rims and you are rocking. ;)

Looks good. I'm a big fan of two tone cars!:D What size tires are you ganna run on the 16's? did you have them widened at G body parts?

A 275 or 285 in back and I had it done by TrueDesign about a year ago. I have been waiting for the paint before I put them on.

Great choice to put the black over charcoal.

Is there some other brand besides Goodrich Radial TAs that supplies a 275 50 16? I used 295 16s by Goodrich before, no 285 size, and for a 10.5" wide tread, they provide "0" bite. I lucked onto 26" tall Sumitomo HTRZ w rated tires in a 255 50 16. Got pretty good traction as demonstrated in my signature. ;)

I was going to us the TA's, but have only heard bad things. Now I need to figure something out. Not a lot to choose from with 16'
rims.

GNX rims

Will those fit stock wheel wells or do you need to notch the frame or use the GNX flares?
What is the backspace and cost? They look good.

9.5 will fit, but you have to be carefull with the backspaceing. What I did was get a 5inch BS and am going to use spacers to get the proper BS. I have heard from 4.5 to 4.75 for the BS. The rims cost $275 a piece.
