i just bought a 2003 f-350 powerstroke its the super cab real 4 door long bed,its also a lariat.i paid $20,268.00 out the door with tax,was this a good deal?thanks

Is it a 6.0 or 7.3 as they were both offered in 03'.

The 03' 6.0 is FAMOUS for having several issues. The EGR and throttle plate to be exact.

The 7.3 is reliable and a 500,000+ mile engine that requires nothing but fuel and oil/fuel filter changes.

$20K is a little high, but if it is in great condition it can be worth it. I paid $19K for an 05' 6.0 CC DRW Long bed (friggin aircraft carrier) with 80,000 miles on it.

If the truck you bought still has under 100K your motor is still under warranty.

its a 6.0.i checked kelly blue book and it said trade in was $19k and some change,i didn't think $20k and some change was to bad of a deal.i was looking for a 2500hd with a 6.0 and could not find one around here.this one has every option including 4x4

I really wish you the best of luck with the 6.0. I traded my 03 6.0 for a D'max because I had to many issues with mine. I miss the room in the ford but I don't miss the headaches.
